The Itinerary

At 8:00 AM, your safari adventure begins with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel. Journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley, where you'll pause for 10-15 minutes to admire the breathtaking views. Arrive in Maasai Mara and enjoy a delicious lunch at your camp. After check-in, embark on an exhilarating sunset game drive from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, exploring the vibrant wildlife and stunning landscapes of the Mara Reserve. Return to Miti Mingi Camp (or a similar lodge) for a hearty buffet dinner and a restful night. Your tented accommodations come equipped with a toilet, shower, bed, linen, and mosquito nets. Electricity is available from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Maasai Mara Reserve, Kenya's premier safari destination, is renowned for its vast open grasslands and high wildlife concentrations, especially along the western escarpment. It’s considered the crown jewel of Kenya's wildlife viewing areas, with ample opportunities to spot the Big Five.

After a hearty breakfast at 7:00 AM, set off for a full day of exploration in Maasai Mara. Search for the Big Five as you traverse the reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch provided by us amidst the park’s natural beauty. Witness the annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events, and observe crocodiles and hippos along the banks of the Mara River. The Great Migration, with over 1.5 million wildebeests and zebras journeying from Tanzania’s Serengeti in search of water and grazing lands, is a breathtaking spectacle that defines Maasai Mara. Follow the migration's path, and you may spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Enjoy an early breakfast, then check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. On the way, visit a Maasai village for a cultural encounter, where you’ll learn about Maasai traditions and interact with the local community. A simple complimentary lunch will be served at a traveler’s motel. Arrive in Nairobi and be dropped off at your hotel, concluding your unforgettable safari experience.
