The Itinerary

Begin your safari with a pickup from your hotel or Mombasa Airport, then drive to Tsavo East National Park via the Mombasa-Nairobi Trans-African Highway, entering through the Bachuma Gate. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, arriving in time for lunch. After checking in and relaxing, head out for an afternoon game drive starting at 3:30 pm through the Voi Main Gate. Explore the park until 6:00 pm, with opportunities to spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of elephants, and with some luck, the elusive big cats. Return to the lodge for dinner and a restful evening.

Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge or Voi Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive exploring various sections of the park. Visit the swampy areas of the loop side where animals frequently gather, and head to the pipeline area known for its concentration of elephants due to abundant waterholes. Continue to Luggard Falls and the Yatta Plateau for more stunning sights and wildlife encounters. Return to your lodge for dinner and another night of relaxation.

Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge.

Start your day with an early morning game drive, offering a great chance to see big cats and enjoy the park’s beautiful wildlife. After breakfast, check out and depart for Mombasa via the Voi-Mombasa Highway. Your safari concludes with your return to Mombasa.

End of Safari.
