The Itinerary

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 9:30 am to begin your half-day tour, starting with a visit to the Nairobi Snake Park, part of the National Museums of Kenya. Located next to the Nairobi National Museum, this popular attraction showcases a variety of reptiles including cobras, puff adders, mambas, and the large, non-poisonous African Rock Python.

The park also features several species of African crocodiles, American alligators, freshwater terrapins, and tortoises. Aquariums with coral fish from East African lakes and rivers add to the park’s diversity.

Beyond its exhibits, the Snake Park serves as a sanctuary for abandoned and rescued reptiles, including a giant tortoise discovered in Limuru in 1961. It has been a haven for threatened and unwanted reptiles and offers services such as snake removal and identification.

Visitors can enjoy the fascinating displays of reptiles, fish, and succulent plants. In the afternoon, you'll be returned to your hotel.
